Children's games: PERCEIVE-BELIEVE-CARE ABOUT

Bullying is the first theme of our project. In the beginning, however, we didn't know it. All we had to do was look at a painting...

     Our first activity was:

Step inside: you are the boy in the middle of the painting.
What can you perceive?
What might you believe?
What might you care about

Some interesting ideas...

CLASS 1

Anastasia G.
We soon found out that this was a detail from a bigger painting. The title of the painting is "Children's Games" and it was painted by the 16th century Flemish painter Pieter Bruegel. Look carefully at the painting and try to spot the detail!

Yes, but was it a game?

Daphne

Panayiota

Well, it was called "the penalty of bumpbouncing" and it was not really pleasant. It was quite painful!

There were 3 more questions about the painting:

Why do you think they punish him?

Do you think it's fair?
